Vintage Cut Glass Offering Tray
Overview
This oval tray features a highly complex, "whirling" star pattern. The central compass-like star is surrounded by smaller celestial bursts and sharp, elongated rays that reach toward the handles. It has a very energetic, cosmic feel.
This tray began as a vintage cut glass serving piece with an elongated oval form and small side handles. Its surface is richly patterned with starburst and geometric cuts that catch light steadily, without glare. There’s room here for multiple stones, a smoldering palo santo stick, and whatever else you’re actively using—without anything feeling crowded or temporary.
It feels dependable.
Like something meant to hold weight, not just look nice.
Each tray includes a small bag of natural sand, intended to safely receive smoldering palo santo, incense, or other burnable materials.
Uses
Designed for anchored, ongoing use:
-
Resting smoldering palo santo sticks (two pieces included)
-
Catching ash from incense or resin
-
Holding multiple stones or ritual tools together
-
Serving as a central surface on an altar, hearth, or table
-
Creating a stable place for work in progress
The sand creates a heat-safe buffer across the length of the tray, protecting the glass and the surface beneath it while allowing fire to finish cleanly.
Stones shown in images are not included.
If you’d like to add stones or grounding objects, visit the Grounded Collection to pair this piece intentionally.
